Emerging in Colombia in 1945, CGLE has grown into a collection of exceptional coffee estates, each regularly producing 90+ scoring lots and featuring heavily on the world stage year on year.

This is a Mandela varietal, a CGLE exclusive lot which resulted from multi-phased cross breeding involving Colombian Caturra, Timor Hybrid, and Ethiopian landraces. The objective was to improve flavour potential and cup quality together with increased resilience and productivity.

In the cup, we find dehydrated strawberry, black cherry, caramel and milk chocolate, with intoxicatingly sweet aromatics. This is a crowd pleaser, if ever we'd drank one.
